1. What BenchMarked is
BenchMarked is a portfolio benchmarking tool. It connects to your Trading 212 account using a read-only API key, reconstructs your deposit and order history, and shows how your portfolio has performed compared with market benchmarks, simulated as if your deposits had bought the benchmark on the same dates.
BenchMarked is operated from the United Kingdom. Contact: support@benchmarked.cc.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement to use BenchMarked.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
4. Your Trading 212 API key
BenchMarked only accepts read-only Trading 212 API keys. Your key is encrypted before storage and is used solely to read your order, deposit, and portfolio data so we can build your comparison. BenchMarked cannot place trades, move money, or withdraw funds, and we will never ask you for a key with those permissions. You can disconnect your account and delete your data at any time.
5. Not financial advice
BenchMarked is an informational tool. Nothing on this site is financial advice, a personal recommendation, or an invitation to buy or sell any investment. Benchmark comparisons are simulations based on historical data and simplifying assumptions, and they will differ from what you would actually have achieved. Past performance is not a guide to future performance. If you need financial advice, speak to a regulated financial adviser.
6. Relationship with Trading 212
BenchMarked is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Trading 212 or any index provider. Trading 212 is a trademark of its owner.
7. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep the data accurate and the service available, but we rely on third-party data sources (including the Trading 212 API and market data providers) that can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. Figures shown may differ from your broker's figures because of methodology, data gaps, or timing.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, access other users' data, reverse engineer the service, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, BenchMarked is not liable for investment losses, decisions you make based on information shown in the service, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the service is limited to £100 or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using BenchMarked and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, or shut down the service with reasonable notice where practicable. On account deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant we will tell you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
Read the Privacy Policy.
